Primary Health Properties (LSE:PHP) is a UK-REIT that's focused on health care related properties in the UK.

Back in 1994 Harry Hyman had the idea of profiting by buying up primary healthcare facilities and then renting the space back to NHS General Practitioners. He began Primary Health Properties plc in 1995. It was fully listed on the London Stock Exchange November 5, 1998. Primary Health Properties converted to a REIT January 1, 2007.

Primary Health now owns over 115 properties. Most tenants are GP surgeries, but also include Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), pharmacies and dentists. Harry Hyman is Managing Director.
