Education Realty (NYSE: EDR) is a self-administered, self-managed REIT owns, develops and manages housing for college students across the United States. Currently EDR has business interest in 36 properties, with over 41,000 beds, in 21 states. Their headquarters are in Memphis Tennessee.
Under the name Allen & O'Hara, they are considered the top provider of privatized student housing and student housing management in the world. They do have a DRIP -- Dividend ReInvestment Plan.
