Mapletree Logistics Trust (SIN:M44U) is an S-REIT (Singapore Real Estate Investment Trust) focused on logistics commercial real estate properties. It's also referred to as MapletreeLog. Mapletree had its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in June 2005.

Mapletree Logistics Trust is managed by Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Ltd. (“MLTM”), which is a subsidiary of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd (MIPL). Mapletree Investments is also the sponsor for MapletreeLog, and it is also a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. They use Mapletree Property Management Pte Ltd to manage their properties.

Richard Lai is Executive Directory and Chief Executive Officer of MapletreeLog.

They stick to logistics properties. They will acquire existing logistics parks and facilities through a sale and leaseback or simple sale. They will also develop logistics parks and facilities on a "Build to Suit" basis.

Where suitable logistics properties do not yet exist, or not enough of them, Mapletree Investments will develop such such facilities and then give MapletreeLog right of first refusal to rent them.

Their customers include distributors, retailers, anybody needing warehouse services and third party operators (3PLs).

MapletreeLog currently has a $S 3.3 billion portfolio of 91 logistics properties in the countries of Singapore, Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, South Korea and Japan.

In December 2010 Mapletree announced the acquisition of the N S Tang Building at 36 Loyang Drive, Loyang Industrial Estate, a two-story industrial warehouse. It is close to Changi International Airport, so convenient for servicing the aviation and aerospace industries.
