AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT (BU5U.SI) is a Singapore Real Estate Investment Trust focuses on industrial properties in Singapore and the rest of Asia.
AIMS AMP Capital Industrial was listed April 19, 2007 under the name of McArthurCook Industrial REIT -- MI-REIT for short. The CEO of MI-REIT bought a piece of property without getting necessary financing and paid too much for it. Therefore, MI-REIT had to do placements and issue rights to raise money.
That CEO has moved on, and two big Australian investment companies -- AIMS Investments and AMP Capital -- stepped in and helped save the company, and in the process renamed it. That happened in March 2010.
All of their properties, except for one in Japan, are located in Singapore.
The manager is AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT Management Limited. That is a joint venture owned 50% each by the AIMS Financial Group and AMP Capital Investors.

Therefore, AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT is a S-REIT that has overcome its past problems and now is positioned to profit from economic activity in Singapore.
