Capital Alliance Income Trust is a REIT (real estate investment trust) that invests in nonconforming first and second home mortgages and home equity loans backed by houses that are mainly in California.
Capital Alliance Income trades on the American Stock Exchange (AMX) under the symbol CAA. It mainly owns a portfolio of home loans that don't meet the standards of government agencies such as Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
It has a subsidiary, Capital Alliance Funding, which originates, buys and sell single-family home mortgages. It also has a warehouse lending unit.
Capital Alliance's Chairman, President, CEO and CFO is Richard J Wrensen. Company headquarters are in San Francisco California.
