Sun Communities is a fully-integrated real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns and operates manufactured home communities (in plain talk -- trailer parks or mobile home parks) and recreational vehicle (RV) resorts. Their New York Stock Exchange symbol is SUI.
Sun operates 136 manufactured home communities in 18 states. With 47,600 developed sites. It was started in 1975, and went public in December 1993.
