Eagle Hospitality Properties has a complicated history. It began as AP AIMCAP Corporation (also known as "New Eagle"). That corporation was a joint venture of affiliates of Apollo Real Estate Investment Fund V L.P. and Aimbridge Hospitality L.P. and JF Capital Advisors LLC.

On August 15, 2007, New Eagle merged with Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust, Inc to form a company under the New Eagle name. But  New Eagle then changed its name to Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust Inc. Their headquarters are in Covington Kentucky.

Their New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol was EHP.

Their properties include: Hilton Glendale in Glendale California and Embassy Suites Hotel Phoenix-Scottsdale in Phoenix Arizona.

Since this REIT is now private, Eagle Hospitality Properties is not for investors.
