Cedar Shopping Centers (NYSE: CDR) is a self-managed REIT that concentrated on shopping centers anchored by supermarkets, and convenience centers anchored by drug stores. They had their Initial Public Offering (IPO) in October 2003.
CDR is now included in the S&P SmallCap 600. They have headquarters in Fort Washington New York. They focus on the development, redevelopment, acquisition and management of retail properties. They're mostly in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic area.
