Saul Centers is a real estate investment trust that's self-managed and self-administered that was formed in 1993. Its headquarters are in Bethesday Maryland, and it owns 51 properties that consist of neighborhood and community shopping centers, and office properties.

Its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol is BFS. It has about 8.2 million square feet of leasable space. Most of its properties are in the Washington D.C./Baltimore Maryland area.

They grow internally by expanding and renovating its properties, and also by developing new properties and acquiring existing properties. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officers is B. Francis Saul II, and the President is B. Francis Saul II.

Their properties include Broadlands Village Center in Ashburn Virginia,  601 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington D.C., Avenel Business Park in Gaithersburg Maryland, Belvedere Gardens in Baltimore Maryland, Briggs Chaney Marketplace in Silver Springs, Flagship Center in Rockville, Great Eastern Plaza, Hampshire Langley, Kentlands Square and Kentlands Place, Olde Fort Village, Ravenwood in Baltimore Maryland, Shops at Monocacy, Smallwood Village Center, Westview Village, White Oak in Silver Spring Maryland, Ashburn Village, Ashland Square, Beacon Center, BJ's Wholesale Club, Countryside Marketplace, Northrock, Countryside Marketplace, Leesburg Pike Plaza, Great Falls Center, Seven Corners in Falls Church Virginia, Marketplace at Sea Colony, Boca Valley Plaza, Jamestown Place, Seabreeze Plaza, Hunt Club Corners, Palm Springs Center, Cruse Marketplace, South DeKalb Plaza, Orchard Park, Lexington Mall in Lexington Kentucky, Thruway, Lumberton Plaza, Crosstown Business Center, French Market, and West Park in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.

Saul Centers, Inc. does offer a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) for investors to easily reinvestment dividends.

Saul Centers is largely dependent on economic activity in the greater Washington D.C./Baltimore area, but of course this area is always going to be important to the United States because that's where the national government is concentrated, so there's always going to be money flowing into that geographical area. Plus, it is somewhat diversified with some  properties in other areas.
