Saul Centers is a real estate investment trust that's self-managed and self-administered that was formed in 1993. Its headquarters are in Bethesday Maryland, and it owns 51 properties that consist of neighborhood and community shopping centers, and office properties.

Its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol is BFS. It has about 8.2 million square feet of leasable space. Most of its properties are in the Washington D.C./Baltimore Maryland area.

They grow internally by expanding and renovating its properties, and also by developing new properties and acquiring existing properties. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officers is B. Francis Saul II, and the President is B. Francis Saul II.

Saul Centers is largely dependent on economic activity in the greater Washington D.C./Baltimore area, but of course this area is always going to be important to the United States because that's where the national government is concentrated, so there's always going to be money flowing into that geographical area.
